FACE TREATMENT :: Giverny Paris PVJ

Last May, I went to use my disdus voucher for Fresh Facial at Giverny, Paris van Java. So, the reasons why i purchased this voucher were 

first, the price quite cheap, considering the place (heeeey, it’s PVJ! the most prestigious mall in Bandung, right?) and the brand (the same treatment in my derma clinic costs more expensive than this!).

second, just because i need a facial.

third, cause i’m so into reviewing skin care treatment nowadays.

Giverny’s Icon as shown on their outlet is Song Hye Gyo. Yes, that berybery pwetty artist from famous Korean Drama, Full House. How can i not being tempted to try their treatment after seeing the bright face of Ms. Song? kkkk, *pembelaan*.

In their brochure, i see “paris” below GIVERNY’s text. This thing is causing a lot confussion in me. How could europe brand has BB cream and use Korean artists as its icon?

so, actually Giverny is Korean brand that gets certificate as trusted high quality brand from several country. what surprise me the most, Giverny’s only branch in South East Asia is located in Bandung!

plus, who will be not tempted seeing song hye gyo as their icon printed in one of their outlet wall? hahaha, excuse~~

enough with the introduction, i’m not their marketing or promotion staff anyway. i’ll review Giverny as ordinary customer. 

i came to Giverny with my sister. first, we did a skin test. the test contains wrinkle test, pore test, sebum test, and color skin test. the machine will count the age of our skin. the younger age u get, the better skin condition u’re in. but the machine which i did my skin test was broken, so i didnt know the result. my sister’s skin age is 14 yro while she is 1993 baby. i’m an oily type while she is a dry type.

after doing this skin test, the beautician decided what product and technique that they will apply on the facial treatment.

The facial itself was not like facial in my derma. This is the type of facial that use only product, not combining it with treatment from the beautician. Yes, there’s face massage therapy. But, there’s no blackhead removal. For me, the blackhead removal treatment is the core of facial. so, anything that not included the blackhead removal, i don’t call it as facial. Usually, beauty spa or salon do this kind of facial while the derma clinics do the real facial.

But, what makes Giverny treatment different from beauty spa&salon facial treatment is that they use different massage methods for each kind of skin types. as for me, since i’m oily type, the beautician used pressing technique and another method for my sister.

After the treatment, they gave us some mineral water and chance to try all Giverny products, from creams to cosmetics.

THE TREATMENT FROM BEAUTICIAN » 3 STARS

the massage was good, focusing only at face area. they used hair band that makes my hair damped after the treatment. i hate it. missing of blackhead removal treatment from the facial care made me really dissapointed.

THE SERVICE » 5 STARS

the beautician explained to us what step will they do next and what products they use also its function for our skin.

THE PRODUCT » 2 STARS

both of me and my sister suffered some oily skin at the evening on the same day as the facial. i even suffered some skin irritation. but the product smells good.

THE PLACE » 3 STARS

the treatment place is not a room, but some cubicle. so everyone outside the cubicle could see us doing the treatment.

NOTES ::

recommended place for you who likes to try skin care or cosmetic products before buying the full size products. not recommended for you who have a limited budget for skin care. just try the facial to enjoy this Giverny skin care and cosmetic products. the price for each skin type set products is too expensive for mostly people. it’s around IDR2500K.
